Ultra Marathoner Arun Bhardwaj completes his 24 hours run on the treadmill at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon Expo

Arun Bharadwaj completed his non-stop 24-hour run

Fitness enthusiasts and spectators at the big day of Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon Mirchi Get Active Expo, cheered and encouraged the 45-year-old Ultra Marathoner Arun Bhardwaj while completing his non-stop 24-hour treadmill run at the event.

Bhardwaj, one of the first internationally acclaimed endurance racers from India, achieved a distance of 147.2 kms in 24 hours on a treadmill but failed to beat his own existing Asian record of 171 kms at the Hyderabad Marathon in 2014.

The spectators saluted and cheered his spirit, endurance and for giving his best to complete the 24 hour treadmill run and in turn being an inspiration to many.
