Indian shooter Mohammed Asab wins the bronze medal in the ISSF shotgun World Cup finals

Indian shooter Mohammed Asab won the Double Trap bronze at the ISSF shotgun World Cup final held in Nicosia, Cyprus. Asab beat Scotish shooter Tim Kneale after shooting a perfect 30/30 in the bronze medal match. He won the medal after scoring 28/30 in the previous match.

The Indian qualified for the final after finishing at the 6th spot in the qualifying with a tally of 135 + 12 points. He has also won a bronze at the double trap event last year at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

Steven Scott of the United Kingdom was the shooter to win the gold medal while Chinese shooter Pan Qiang took the silver.
