#8 Kerala Blasters Home Record (P7 W2 D2 L3 Pts: 8)

Kerala have the most passionate home support but couldn't give them the results they deserve

Kerala Blasters have the worst home record in the league and that reflects in their league position. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi which saw regular attendance of over 60000 failed to be the fortress for the Blasters as the team couldnt live up to the expectations.

Although Kerala Blasters started off with a bang, defeating NorthEast United 3-1 at home, they could only manage a 0-0 draw against Mumbai City FC in their next home match. Delhi Dynamos then beat Kerala Blasters 1-0 at the Nehru stadium in Kochi before the Blasters drew 1-1 with Chennaiyin FC.

The Blasters then pipped FC Pune City 2-0 before going down 3-2 to Atletico de Kolkata in a thriller. Kerala Blasters home campaign ended in the worst possible fashion as FC Goa demolished them 5-1 in their own backyard.

#7 Delhi Dynamos Home Record (P7 W2 D4 L1 Pts: 10)

Though they suffered only one loss, they couldn't convert home advantage into many wins

Delhi Dynamos had an average home season and only managed ten points from their seven home games, winning only two of their matches at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. What made their home record good was the fact that they hadn’t lost a match at home till their last home encounter, in which they were defeated by FC Goa.

The home campaign however, started off with a hard fought 1-0 win over Chennaiyin FC. Delhi then followed that up with three consecutive 1-1 draws with NorthEast United, Mumbai City FC and Atletico de Kolkata. The Dynamos picked up their second home win against FC Pune City, before making a stunning comeback to draw 3-3 with the Kerala Blasters.

Roberto Carlos’ men lost their final game to FC Goa and eventually finished in fourth place in the table.

#6 Mumbai City FC Home Record (P7 W3 D2 L2 Pts: 11)

Mumbai had a mixed bag of a campaign at home

Mumbai City FC were good at the Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium and earned 11 points on their home turf. However, their home campaign got off to a bad start when they were undone by Stiven Mendoza as his brace helped Chennaiyin FC win 2-0.

Mumbai City made a stunning comeback and won three in a row against Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa and NorthEast United, before being brought back down to earth by Atletico de Kolkata, who trounced Mumbai 4-1 in their own back yard.

The Ranbir Kapoor-owned team finished their home season with two draws against FC Pune City and Kerala Blasters and ultimately ended with eleven home points.

#5 NorthEast United Home Record (P7 W4 D0 L3 Pts: 12 GD 0)

NorthEast United relied on their home support a lot and provided them with great entertainment

Yet another team with 12 home points, NorthEast United had a goal difference of 0 over the course of their home matches, making theirs the fifth-best home record in the league.

The Highlanders started off at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati with a 3-1 loss to FC Goa, but picked up two crucial wins against Chennaiyin FC and Atletico de Kolkata to kick start their season. However, NorthEast United slipped to a 4-1 defeat when the Kerala Blasters came calling, and worked hard to get back to winning ways, achievin it with a 2-0 win over Mumbai City FC.

However, Northeast United lost to Delhi Dynamos in the penultimate home game in what was a loss that proved to be fatal for Cesar Farias' men and their prospects of reaching the semi-finals. In their final home game, they produced a good performance to defeat Pune City 3-2.

#4 FC Goa Home Record (P7 W3 D3 L1 Pts: 12 GD +6)

Zico's outfit couldn't win a lot of their matches at home but still have a decent record

FC Goa too collected 12 points from their home fixtures, but fall behind Chennayin on goal difference and trail Atletico de Kolkata due to less number of wins.

They too had many home games to start the tournament with and kicked off their campaign at the Fatorda Stadium with a solid 2-0 win over Delhi Dynamos. The Gaurs could only manage a draw against Atletico de Kolkata before getting smashed 4-0 by Chennaiyin FC. However, Zico's men returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters and drew with FC Pune City in their next home encounter.

The team from Goa got their biggest home success when they hammered Mumbai City FC 7-0 in a match that saw them break multiple records. They then ended their home campaign with a 1-1 draw against NorthEast United.

#3 Atletico de Kolkata Home Record (P7 W4 D0 L3 Pts: 12 GD +6)

Reigning champions Atletico recovered in time to improve their home record

Atletico de Kolkata have the third best home record in ISL season two, only one point behind FC Pune City and just ahead of Chennaiyin FC on goal difference. Kolkata started off their home campaign with a 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters but suffered two back-to-back 1-0 defeats to the Delhi Dynamos and NorthEast United at the Salt Lake Stadium.

Struggling to qualify for the semi-finals, Atletico turned their home form around thanks to a 4-0 thrashing of FC Goa and a 4-1 win over FC Pune City. Having already qualified for the semifinals, Atletico lost their last home game in dramatic fashion to Mumbai City FC as they finished second after the group stages.

#2 Chennaiyin FC Home Record (P7 W4 D0 L3 Pts: 12, GD +7)

Chennaiyin were pretty consistent at home in the current season

Chennaiyin FC left it late to make their qualification surge which saw them finish third in the ISL table and a lot of that was down to some good performances at the Marina Arena.

Having started off with a defeat to Atletico de Kolkata in the season opener, Chennaiyin made a winning return to the their home stadium against FC Pune City after five straight away games, before defeats to FC Goa and NorthEast United in Chennai left their campaign in tatters.

However, Marco Materazzi's men bounced back with a 4-1 thrashing of the Kerala Blasters and followed it up with two heavy wins, a 4-0 rout of Delhi Dynamos and a 3-0 walk in the park over Mumbai City FC respectively to resurrect their season.

#1 FC Pune City - Home Record (P7 W4 D1 L2 Pts: 13)

Though they finished 7th in the league, Pune were the best in terms of home record

Surprisingly, it is FC Pune City who have the best home record in ISL season two, with David Platt’s team having picked up 13 points at the Balewadi Sports Stadium. Pune had a host of home games to start with and they made good use of it by winning most of them, starting off with the 3-1 win over arch-rivals Mumbai City FC.

The Pune outfit followed it up with a 1-0 win over Northeast United before falling to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Delhi Dynamos. However, wins against Atletico de Kolkata and Kerala Blasters and a point against FC Goa meant that FC Pune City's home form was very good. They were a regular member of the top four at the start based on their home record only.

But, the failure to reproduce the same form away from the Balewadi stadium saw Pune City’s campaign get derailed as Platt's side finished seventh in the league despite having a strong home record.
