However, with Vancouver losing Thatcher Demko, it'll be interesting to see how their season progresses. Can Vancouver keep this streak going or will it all fall apart without their number one goalie? They could make a good run if they have finally found their stride in the season or if this stretch will just be a cute footnote in the season.

Vancouver has been scoring at an incredible rate, averaging almost four goals per game over their past ten. Playing a horrible San Jose team, they could score five or six times themselves.

Martin is not the stud Demko is, so he'll allow a few goals for sure, so in what could be an incredibly high-scoring game, the over is a lock tonight.

Vancouver is hot, and they are currently the unbeatable team in the Pacific Division. As long as they are rolling like this, there is no reason to bet against them.

San Jose will receive more of an edge than they usually would, with Vancouver sending Martin out in the net as Demko sustained an injury that will have him on the IL for a month. This could be a turning point in sending them back to their losing ways, but maybe Martin will step up in a big way.

San Jose should be glad they play in a division with the Anaheim Ducks, as they would be the punching bag if it were not for them. The Ducks will give the Sharks quite a few opportunities to be a favorite this season.
