Eastern Michigan vs. Kent State Prediction, Odds, Line, Pick and Preview - November 16 | NCAA Football Regular Season

UTEP v Oklahoma
Collin Schlee could be crucial for Kent State Golden Flashes

The Eastern Michigan Eagles take their road warrior mentality into Dix Stadium to take on the Kent State Golden Flashes. While Eastern Michigan is officially bowl-eligible, they still have a lot to play for. The Eagles have been a hard-nosed team all season long, winning four of their last four games on the road.

Can Eastern Michigan make it a 5th? Kent State fans hope not. The Golden Flashes have flashed high-upside this season but have not put it together consistently. Kent State would need victories in their final two contests to become bowl-eligible like their counterparts.

Who will take this hotly-contested match-up on Wednesday night?

Eastern Michigan Eagles vs. Kent State Golden Flashes Best Pick

Kent State heads into this match-up on a bit of a roll following a 40-6 victory over Bowling Green. The Golden Flashes are more of a ball-control offense, with Marquez Cooper leading the way on the ground with 1,100 rushing yards and nine TDs.

The Golden Flashes should be able to impose their will and control the line of scrimmage to establish the ground game.

Collin Schlee contributes on the ground with over 400 rushing yards, and Schlee is not known as a prolific passer. I would take the Under here.

Collin Schlee, 200.5 Passing Yards: Under

Eastern Michigan Eagles vs. Kent State Golden Flashes Final Prediction

I can't wait for this one. Eastern Michigan is coming in on a roll and feeling good about where their program is now that they are officially bowl-eligible. The Eagles will not be overwhelmed by the challenge of traveling into Dix Stadium.

Kent State has stood up to the challenge of being a road underdog and provide a unique challenge as they can dominate the time of possession with a highly effective running game.

Kent State will have Collin Schlee on the move in this one, and his mobility will cause a conflict in the Eagles' defense. They will likely wear down the Eagles' defense throughout and take advantage in the 4th quarter and will win the game, moving one step closer to bowl eligibility, but the spread of over a TD is a bit too much to give. I'll take the Eastern Michigan Eagles to keep this one close and cover the spread.

Eastern Michigan Eagles +7.5 (-110)
