Both schools have really struggled this year, and they'll need to gain some momentum soon to get their seasons back on track. CCSU is just 1-10, previously losing to Fordham 99-70, while Manhattan, who are on a three-game skid, are down to 3-6. Manhattan has allowed their opponents to shoot 51% or better in each of their past three games, and tonight they'll need to be a lot better on that end. The Jaspers do average 4.7 blocks per game, which is solid, and the majority of these have come from senior Josh Roberts, who accounts for 2.9, and he also pulls down a team-high 9.7 boards. Offensively, the Jaspers have a few go-to scorers, including Roberts (13.3), as well as Samir Stewart (16.2), and Ant Nelson (13.3). Stewart and Nelson are high-volume scorers, but their efficiency hasn't been great. Central Connecticut State has been awful this year, but in their lone win, they were able to hold Dartmouth to just 30.6% shooting.

The Blue Devils have two players that score in double figures; guard Kellen Amos (13.1) and Nigel Scantlebury (10.7). From deep, the hosts shoot just 31%, and a lot of their points are unassisted. Also, they don't get to the line much, which means that a lot of their points are tough buckets. This doesn't bode well going forward, especially since they don't have a ton of prolific scorers. Tonight, they'll need to buckle down on defense to have a chance to notch their second win of the season.

They lost a closely contested affair to Bryant last time out, 104-97, but now they'll host Central Connecticut State, who are 0-7 on the road.
