Maple Leafs vs. Stars: Predictions, Odds, Lines, and Picks - December 6, 2022 | NHL Regular Season

Calgary Flames v Dallas Stars - Game Six
Jason Robertson leads the league with 23 goals.

The Toronto Maple Leafs head to Texas to take on the Stars. It's the premier matchup of the day as these are two of the best teams from their respective conferences.

Jason Robertson has been stealing headlines as he has overtaken Connor McDavid as the league leader in goals. McDavid started the year scoring at a historic rate, but Robertson has looked like Wayne Gretzky of late.

Robertson has put up a point in every game since October 27. More impressive than that are the 15 goals and 11 assists he notched in November.

In this stretch of 18 games, Roberston has scored in 15 games and has had five multi-goal matches.

Maple Leafs vs. Stars Best Picks

The fact that Robertson to score a goal is still available at plus money is a gift to bettors. While his streak has to come to an end eventually, there is no reason not to ride with him as long as there's a (+) next to his name.

Jason Robertson to Score a Goal (+106)

As great as both of these offenses are, both goalies are even better. Goals will come in this one, but the under may be a good play.

Even better than the under, however, is no goals early. Both teams have sharpshooters and could pull off a hat trick in any given game, but they will need to break the goalies as they will be a wall early.

No Goals in the First Five Minutes (-210)

Maple Leafs vs. Stars Prediction

Two well-matched teams enter play with similar records; however, only one of them has the hottest player in the league. As long as Robertson is playing like he is, it would not be advisable to bet against the Stars.

Even if this is the night Robertson finally doesn't notch a point, as a team, Dallas has been playing better as a unit of late.

Toronto is still sharp; Tampa Bay ended their five-game winning streak their last time out with an overtime victory. Matt Murray will be in net tonight, and as great as he has been, Jake Oettinger has been even better for Dallas.

Overall, this will be a fantastic game for fans, but the smart money will be on Dallas in this one.

Dallas (-105)
