Rangers vs. Golden Knights: Prediction, Odds, Lines, and Picks - December 7 | NHL Regular Season

Arizona Coyotes v Vegas Golden Knights
Logan Thompson has an incredible 92% save rate.

The New York Rangers will head out west for a short two-game road trip, and they kick off with the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

The New York Rangers had high hopes for the season after making the Eastern Conference Finals last year. However, they have looked less than stellar in opening the year, posting a record of 12-10-4-1, and have lost five of their last seven games.

The Golden Knights, however, are far and away the best team in the Western Conference, and they have entered the season with a vengeance after missing the playoffs last year. They are the team to beat this year.

Rangers vs. Golden Knights Best Picks

Jack Eichel is missing time with a lower-body injury, but this offense is so strong that Vegas will be fine without him for a few games.

Eichel being out just allows more scoring opportunities for other guys. Mark Stone and Williams Karlsson carried this team before Eichel took over. So those are two guys bettors can expect to step up tonight.

William Karlsson Any Time Goal Scorer (+300)

Mark Stone Any Time Goal Scorer (+240)

While this would be an excellent game for Igor Shesterkin to step up and return to the type of player he was last season, he likely won't be able to do so against this incredible Las Vegas club.

Igor Shesterkin Under 28.5 Saves

Rangers vs. Golden Knights Prediction

It looks like both teams will run out their regular keepers, and while Igor Shesterkin has had some struggles recently, losing three of his last four and allowing an average of almost three goals per game. Nevertheless, Shesterkin is due for a bounceback.

For Vegas, it really doesn't matter who they put between the pipes. Logan Thompson is 13-5, and Adin Hill, who has seen starts while Robin Lehner is recovering, is 6-3. Vegas is firing on all cylinders, and they are a team I would never advise betting against.

Las Vegas (-135)
