#1 Untitled biopic of P.T Usha
To be directed by renowned Malayali filmmaker Revathy S. Varmha, this biopic will be based on India's most loved track and field athlete -- Pilavullakandi Thekkeparambil Usha or simply P.T Usha. Her long and illustrious career includes multiple Asian Games and Asian Championships medals. She also set multiple records (in 200 metres, 400 metres, 400 metres hurdles) in her time.
The producers of the film are keen on getting Priyanka Chopra on board for the film but it remains to be seen if her busy schedule in Hollywood would permit her to travel to Indian shores again to shoot for the film. The film will feature P.T Usha's childhood, her glory years, her current coaching career and has a budget of Rs. 100 crore.
Even though the names of most of these biopics remains a mystery it can be said for certain that they have already got fans excited. The trend of making sports biopics is here to stay.
