#8 Mehuli Ghosh - Women's 10m Air Rifle
The 17-year-old created waves with an impressive show in the Women's 10m Air Rifle event in which she clinched the silver medal after she shot with a total score of 247.2 to tie on first place with Singapore's Martina Lindsay Veloso. However, in the shootout, Mehuli managed 9.9 to Martina's 10.3 as she settled with silver.
The teenager did not have the best of qualifiers as she qualified fifth with a score of 413.7 to leader Apurvi Chandela's 423.2. But in the finals, she upped her game as she put on a determined performance that put her above the rest.
With a final score of 247.2, she penned her name down in the history books as the holder of the new highest score in the Commonwealth Games.
