Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is ready to extend his Anfield reign. The 32-year-old England player has made the most appearances in this season than any other season in his career.
His records also boast of playing in every minute in every game till he was subbed with 20 minutes remaining at Newcastle last weekend. The commitment he has shown has led Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers to offer his captain a new contract, with Gerrard acknowledging a deal would be struck this summer.
