Mr. Shammi Rana is nominated for USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Award 2018 which is going to be held on May 19th, 2018 at Double Tree Hilton Los Angles California, the USA, he is nominated by Mr. Hari Osias Banaag President Global Sikran Federation. Mr. Rana is nominated for this award due to his contribution towards martial arts and Traditional Sports worldwide.

The ultimate example of someone who has made his affection and desires his profession - Shammi Rana promoting skills is well aware of and has earned him an appointment as Rapporteur/Secretary General of the Adhoc Advisory Committee of UNESCO Traditional Sports and Games (TSG).

Rana appointment is a major coup by UNESCO because he brings a significant experience to his new role, As a veteran activist of sports activities with over two decades of experience on top of his background as an athlete and a coach, Mr. Rana is acclaimed globally as a Public Relations Expert and Promoter of Martial Arts Organizations, his influence, and passion cannot be underestimated.

Due to his promotional activities, Belt Wrestling gained inclusion in World Martial Arts Mastership Championship and in the United Nations & Scientific, Educational, Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) Traditional Sports and Games(TSG) events and will be competing in upcoming International Traditional Games.

He is tasked by UNESCO with promoting its mission - The mission that epitomizes Traditional Sports and Games, UNESCO.

The aims of Traditional Sports and Games, UNESCO Clubs are those of the Organization itself, as proclaimed in its Constitution: & quote to contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration among the nations through education,science and culture in order to further universal respect for justice, for the rule of law and for the human rights and fundamental freedoms which are affirmed for the people's of the world, without the distinction of race, sex, language or religion, by the Charter of the United Nations."

Mr. Rana fits perfectly into Traditional Sports and Games, UNESCO mission, his promoting skills is undoubtedly a huge asset to the organization.

He deals with expectations in attending international sporting events around the world, meeting with various international dignitaries and heads of sports associations in countries likely, the United States, Turkey and Kazakhstan to discuss UNESCO TSG inclusion and participation.

Mr. Rana is a Genuine hardworking official - and supported Traditional Organization to be part of UNESCO TSG, which is highly demonstrated by his good work with H.E. Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan (son of President of Turkey) and President of World Ethnosport Confederation to be part of UNESCO TSG.

Sports like Martial art and Belt Wrestling as gain massive recognition throughout the federation due to expert promotion skills of Mr. Rana.

Mr. Rana also promoted the Korean martial arts, Taekwondo, to over 30 different schools in his home state of Punjab, India.

While promoting Belt Wrestling as martial arts and Traditional Sports and Games, Mr. Rana also works with States level dignitaries across Asia to provide martial arts organizations, including efforts in the role of General Secretary of the Asian Belt Wrestling Federation.

Mr. Rana has already help formed an amateur belt wrestling federations in countries like South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

Mr. Rana works closely with Mr. Wendel and Mr. Hari Osias in a bid to create Pan American traditional wrestling organization, the organization - whose function will be to safeguard, develop and most promote the traditional wrestling styles in America.
