Real Madrid's Kaka plays down the hype surrounding El Clasico

Real Madrid playmaker Kaka believes that his teammates aren’t really getting affected by the hype surrounding their clash with Barcelona on Saturday. The build up to the Clasico has been extraordinary with many labelling it as the match of the year. However, Kaka sees no point in being affected by these claims, insisting that Madrid are only focused on the match tomorrow.

“The team is already very good, but I think that we can still get better and develop further,” Kaka told AS. “We’re on the right track and we have to continue our good work.

“We are thinking about El Clasico, but we don’t really talk about it. It will obviously be a special game, but it’s not the right time to talk about the game.

“Others always give these games a lot of attention and make it very big. We let the others believe in the hype and we don’t want to get involved.”

Madrid have already confirmed that they will be employing their usual 4-3-3 formation but there is still doubts on whether Kaka would start or not. Mourinho is known to prefer a solid and defensive midfield when facing the Catalans therefore as for now, it appears certain that Kaka could start from the bench on Saturday.

Another dillemma that is being faced by Mourinho is the forward selection. Both Benzema and Higuain have been industrious form throughout the season but with a 4-3-3 formation, there will only be a space for one striker.
