1955 - Birth of the first Anglo-Indian to play for India – Roger Binny. Being a fantastic all-round cricketer, Roger drew immense fame for his great showing at the 1983 World Cup, playing an integral part in India’s win and ending up as the highest wicket taker with 18 wickets.
