Video: MLS footballer scores goal from near corner flag

FC Dallas’ Panama international Blas Perez scored from an impossible angle and distance in an MLS match against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Midway through the first half, Perez got the ball on the right flank, near the corner flag. With a defender marking him, he tried a hopeful cross which actually ended up being a shot on goal.

The shot soared over the goalkeeper and into the left side of the net – an incredibly lucky goal!

Although Vancouver equalized in the second half, Perez scored another to win the game and the Man of the Match award.
