The 2024 high school football season has been one to note Quarterbacks all over the country have been showcasing their skills and talent on the gridiron. A lot of top prospects are gaining a substantial amount of traction in the recruiting scene as well.

With so many standout individual seasons on display, it can be interesting to see who has the top spot so far this year. Five have separated themselves from the rest of the pack, putting the country on notice.

5 best quarterback seasons of 2024 high school football

#1, Bryce Underwood

Bryce Underwood of Bellville High School (5-0) in Michigan has been on a reign of terror. He's thrown for 1,043 yards and 17 touchdowns to only one interception while rushing for 311 yards and five TDs.

Underwood, an LSU commitment, is a five-star recruit, who is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the Class of 2025.

#2, Julian "JuJu" Lewis

Julian Lewis out of Carrollton High School (6-0) in Georgia, another five-star prospect, has put up crazy numbers through six games. Throwing for 1,377 yards and 21 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions, the USC commit has only 31 incompletions through 132 pass attempts.

#3, Luke Nickel

Luke Nickel has the Milton High School Eagles (6-0) ranked No. 1 in Georgia. Nickel, a Miami commit, has thrown for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns with five interceptions. He's gotten it done on the ground as well, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

#4, Tavien St. Clair

Tavien St. Clair from the Bellefontaine (Ohio) Chieftains (5-2) has proven why he earned his five-star ranking. The Ohio State commit has thrown for 1,244 yards, 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. The dual-threat QB has also rushed for 133 yards and three more scores.

#5, Keelon Russel

A five-star Alabama commit, Duncanville (Texas) quarterback Keelon Russel is showing why the Crimson Tide made a good decision offering him a scholarship. Russel's thrown for 1,415 yards and 19 touchdowns with only one interception. He's also rushed for 125 yards and one TD.
