Defensive Lineman Jahkeem Stewart out of Edna Carr in Louisiana is a highly touted recruit. He's a 4-star recruit who holds over 24 offers from schools like Ohio State, USC, LSU, and Oregon and is rated as the No. 9 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 2 player in Louisiana in the class of 2025 per 247sports.
At 6 foot 6 270 pounds, he uses his size to an advantage against opposing offensive linemen. He exceeds in the pass rush well with a plethora of techniques to get to the quarterback. In 2023 he had 85 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, and 20 sacks.
It was announced on Nov. 26, 2024, via @On3recruits on Instagram that On3's Steve Wiltfong predicted that USC could get a commitment from the defensive lineman. Wiltfong has the Recruiting Prediction Machine at a 60 percent chance that USC lands Jahkeem.

It's been indicated that Jahkeem's top schools are Ohio State, Oregon, LSU, and USC being that he's taken official visits to those programs. He officially visited Oregon on Oct. 12, 2024, Ohio State on Oct. 25 and Nov. 29, LSU on Nov. 8, and USC on Nov. 15. All those schools seem to be in the running to get a commitment from the star defensive lineman who recently reclassified from 2026 to 2025.
Stewart is from Louisiana and the LSU Tigers are recruiting him hard. LSU has had a history of good defenses throughout the last 20 years and it seems like that isn't going to change. While that could be good enough to commit, other schools still have a chance to Jahkeem Stewart.

LSU currently has the 6th ranked 2025 football recruiting class with 26 commits, one being a 5-star. LSU is 7-4 on the season and 9th in the SEC. Ohio State has the number 3 overall 2025 recruiting class with 25 commits that feature three 5-stars. The Buckeyes are 10-1 and 2nd in the BIG 10.
Oregon is ranked the 8th best 2025 recruiting class with 16 commits, three of which are 5 stars. The Ducks are the number 1 ranked team in the country and first in the BIHG 10 with an 11-0 record. USC is ranked as the 14th-best 2025 recruiting class with 21 commits, two of which are 5 stars. The Trojans are 6-5 on the season and 10th in BIG 10.
