Davion Adkins is set to undertake an unofficial visit to Kansas on Dec. 14 during their match against NC State. This will be Bill Self's third time hosting a recruit from Adkins' class.
Before this, the Jayhawks were visited by four-star recruits Jalen Montonati from Owasso High School (Owasso, OK) and Aidan Chronister from Sunrise Christian Academy (Rogers, AR) on Jan. 6, 2024.
The consensus four-star recruit is ranked at No. 26 nationally, third in the power forward position and second in Texas by On3. However, 247Sports ranks him as the best power forward and second-best in Texas in the Class of 2026. He also plays club basketball for Southern Assault in Texas.
Adkins averaged 3.3 points for the Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy in the 2023-24 season. While talking with 247Sports, he spoke about his team and what he wants to achieve:
"We just have to win every game and take it one day at a time," Adkins said. "We have a great team and I feel we have a bench that allows us to reload everytime. I personally want to bring my presence to each game through shot blocking, running the floor, and tiring out my opponents."
According to 247Sports, Davion Adkins has received 12 offers with the first coming from California on May 22, 2023. He received two more offers last year, from TCU on Jun.1 and South Carolina on Jul. 16.

The Jayhawks have made 15 offers to players from the Class of 2026, including those to eight five-star and seven four-star recruits. The notable players include Brandon McCoy, Caleb Holt, Alijah Arenas and more.
