No. 4 recruit from the Class of 2024, Alijah Arenas, has added another team to his offers list. Arenas received an offer from the Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday, according to Kentucky Recruits. With this, the son of three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas becomes the 11th player from the Class of 2026 to secure an offer from coach Mark Pope.

Arenas now has offers from top programs, including Arizona, UCLA, Fresno State, Washington State, UTEP, New Mexico, Xavier and Alabama, among others. He is ranked second in the shooting guard position and third in California.
Playing for Chatsworth High School in Los Angeles, Arenas averaged 30.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks in 27 matchups as a freshman. He improved his offensive game in the next season as he scored 33.0 ppg, grabbed 8.6 rpg, dished out 2.9 apg and stole the ball 1.3 times with 0.9 blocks per contest in 35 matches in his sophomore year.
Arenas has continued to make his mark on the court for Chatsworth as he entered his junior season this year. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is averaging 25.3 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 5.0 apg and 1.7 spg in the 2024-25 season. While playing for the Compton Magic in the Adidas 3SSB circuit at the 17U level, Alijah Arenas averaged 21.4 points while shooting 48% from the field, including 24.3% from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats secured commitments from five-star point guard Jasper Johnson from the Overtime Elite Academy on Sept. 5, four-star recruit and center Malachi Moreno from Great Crossing on Aug. 16 and point guard Acaden Lewis from Sidwell Friends in the Class of 2025.
In the Class of 2026, they have sent offers to two five-star recruits, Mikka Muurinen and Jason Crowe.

According to On3, Arenas has 19 offers from colleges including UCLA, Washington State, UTEP, Nevada, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Virginia and Butler, among others.
The publication's prediction machine states that Arizona has the highest chance of signing Arenas with 48.6%. The Wildcats are followed by UCLA with a 3.9% chance and Fresno State with 3.3%, while Washington State, UTEP, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech have 2.8%.
Arenas has one more year before he will decide on his collegiate career.
