AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2025, is currently sitting on more than 30 offers from the top college programs in the country. Schools such as BYU, Kansas State, Alabama, North Carolina and Auburn are in the mix to land the coveted small forward from Utah Prep High School.

Dybantsa is predicted to be a high draft pick. The 6-foot-9 forward is touted to have a great NBA career as he prepares to take the first steps toward his dream. The five-star recruit appeared on the latest episode of Paul George's podcast and spoke about his future and expectations in the league.

Dybantsa also talked about being the first athlete from his family to potentially enter the NBA and claimed that he won't change his process against anyone, even if that player is an NBA son.

"I wouldn't say I use it as motivation just because their fathers are in the league," Dybantsa said on the podcast when asked about competing against former NBA players' sons in his class. "I just wanna win. I'm just trying to make it to the NBA ... I'm not going at you just because you're NBA son."

AJ Dybantsa showcased his talent in the Border League last weekend, scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and five assists en route to his team's 64-58 win over the Florida Rebels.

Auburn still in play for 2025 No. 1 prospect AJ Dybantsa

The Auburn Tigers made AJ Dybantsa's list of six college programs that he is considering for his commitment. Bruce Pearl's side joined the likes of Kansas, Kansas State, Alabama, North Carolina and BYU in the forward's list.

Auburn extended an offer to Dybantsa on August 31, 2023. Since then, the five-star recruit has visited the program once, in March this year. He spoke about the program after his visit in an interview with On3.

"(Auburn is) a guard school and I want to be a guard," Dybantsa said, as per On3. "If they can get me the guard skills that I want, it would be a good fit. I feel like I can playmake. If I can get a couple of people around me that can shoot and a couple of bigs, that could open up a lot more for everyone."

Auburn's Class of 2025 is currently ranked No. 70 in the country, as per 247Sports. They have acquired one commitment so far from the class, three-star guard Simon Walker from Huntsville, Alabama.
