Five-star Ohio State cornerback commit Na'eem Offord attended numerous Auburn games this season. This has sparked rumors that he might not be loyal to his commitment to the Buckeyes.

On Sunday, On3 tweeted that Offord would decide between Ohio State, Oregon and Auburn on Signing Day. Auburn linebacker commit (2026) JaMichael Garrett stoked the fire by retweeting the post and declaring the Tigers the favorite.

"I’m pretty confident," Garrett tweeted.

Five-star quarterback Deuce Knight, who flipped from Notre Dame to Auburn last month, also joined the discussion by sharing Garrett's post and tweeting:

"Makes 2 of us."

Knight has been targeting Offord for a while, and he earlier declared Offord as one of his targets.

"I'm coming after Naeem Offord, Andrew Babaloa, Caleb Cunningham, Ousmane Kromah, & CJ Wiley," Offord told Hayes Fawcett of On3 following his commitment. "I'm not stopping until they slide to AU! Ain't no more Freeze Warning, it's Freezing on the Plains now."

Auburn's pursuit of Offord is also supported by a flip prediction from 247Sports' Tom Loy. Offord is the No. 1 cornerback in the nation, per ESPN. If Auburn manages to flip him, it will be a big boost to its 2025 class, which holds the commitments of 27 players.

Na'eem Offord speaks about the game-day visit to Auburn for the Texas A&M game

Na'eem Offord was in Jordan-Hare Stadium this weekend when Auburn beat the No. 15 Texas A&M 43–41 in four overtimes. After the win, thousands of Auburn fans stormed the field to celebrate the moment, Offord being one of them.

"At Auburn, that was the wildest game I've been to," Offord told 247 Sports. "It was crazy, that was my first time rushing the field."

The win improved Hugh Freeze's program to 5-6 overall and 2-6 in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers will next play the Iron Bowl against the No. 7 Alabama in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.

Auburn players and commits went crazy in the locker room, dancing and doing Instagram live. Even Freeze joined them in the celebration.

"I went into the locker room and they were going crazy," Offord told On3. "Hugh Freeze was going crazy. He was dancing."

Saturday marked the fourth time Offord visited Auburn this season, which speaks a lot about his affinity for the Tigers. He was joined by four-star running back Ousmane Kromah, three-star running back Zion Johnson and five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry.
