The No. 18 overall prospect from the Class of 2026's official visit to Eugene has many people talking, even stars from other sports, such as the sons of former NBA Slam Dunk champion Jason Richardson, Jase and Jaxon.

"Trimmm," commented Columbus Explorers star Jaxon Richardson.
"this the one i’m ngl," commented his older brother. Michigan State star Jase Richardson.

The Richardson brothers are still fresh off their respective championship seasons, with Jase helping Michigan State win the Big Ten title last April, while Jaxon, along with the Boozer Twins, Cameron and Cayden, won the state championship and the Chipotle National title.

As for Jett Washington, Oregon is one of the favorites to get his commitment. However, USC, Ohio State and Alabama are also in the race.

He helped lead Bishop Gorman to a state championship and was named the MaxPreps Player of the Year as a junior after recording 38 tackles, five interceptions and one forced fumble.

Jett Washington talks about his official visit to Oregon

Oregon coach Dan Lanning rolled out the red carpet for Washington as he arrived in Eugene, and Jett Washington admitted he is feeling good about the Ducks after spending the weekend there. He said so during an interview with On3 on Sunday:

“Oregon is still high on my list and I’m feeling pretty good about them,” Washington said. “It is a great program and they are recruiting me as hard as anyone. Coach Hampton is a great coach, coach Lanning has the program going up and I liked it a lot.”
“The coaches made me feel like I have been there 50+ times and that it’s a home for me,” he said. “I’ve spent time with coach Tosh (Lupoi), coach Hampton and Lanning. Their message was that I am a priority and Oregon is great for me.”

There is still no timeline as to when the sought-after safety will announce his decision, though many are speculating it might happen this summer after Jett Washington has completed his official visits.
