The commitment of Cameron and Cayden Boozer is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated in the 2025 class. The five-star basketball prospects and twin sons of former NBA star Carlos Boozer are highly sought-after. They have received up to 14 offers but may now be down to two schools to choose from.
The latest reports about the Boozer twins’ destination show it may be between Duke and Miami (FL). This has brought varying reactions from fans and netizens.
“Pretty sure Cam is deciding where to go and Cayden is just following wherever he chooses,” a fan said on Instagram.
Some fans advised the brothers to join Miami instead of Duke.

Cameron and Cayden Boozer's intertwined careers and recruitment
The Boozer twins have been on the same basketball career path since they started high school. They are students of Christopher Columbus High School in Westchester, Florida. However, they play in different positions. While Cameron is a power forward, Cayden is a point guard. Cayden is the No. 4 point guard in the country according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Cameron, on the other hand, is the consensus No. 1 point guard nationally and is also ranked No. 2 overall.
Cameron and Cayden Boozer have also represented the US National Team at the FIBA U-16 Americas Championship and the FIBA U-17 World Cup. They won the gold medals on both occasions.
Expectedly, their recruitment has also followed the same path. They've both received offers from 14 schools and have visited Florida, Miami, Duke, Kentucky and Florida State together.
However, neither they nor their father has come out to assure fans that they will play at the same college. Notwithstanding, a date for the announcement of their commitment has been set. The choice between Duke and Miami will be communicated on Oct. 10, according to basketball insider Adam Zagoria.
Duke holds a special connection with Cameron and Cayden Boozer. Their father was a Blue Devil from 1999 to 2002, winning the NCAA National Championship in 2001. Committing to Duke will make them Jon Scheyer’s first commits in the 2025 class.
Miami (FL) will count on the fact that it is the Boozers’ home state school and hope that the twins commit to the Hurricanes.
