Three-star edge rusher Keysaun Eleazer from Southeast Raleigh High School, North Carolina, is a promising prospect in the Class of 2026. The junior added a major offer to his growing list of opportunities when Ryan Day's Ohio State extended a scholarship on Sunday.

Ohio State associate head coach and defensive line coach Larry A. Johnson extended the offer to Eleazer. The prospect shared the news on X, tagging Johnson and Ohio State Director of Recruitment Strategy Nick Murphy.

"After a conversation @R2X_Rushmen1 I am honored and thankful to have an offer from @OhioStateFB @N_Murph @AnnaH247 @DemetricDWarren," Eleazer tweeted.

Eleazer received his first in-state offer from Appalachian State earlier in January. His recruitment portfolio includes Virginia Tech, UCF, East Carolina, Troy and Massachusetts.

Eleazer’s disruptive presence on the field has been a key factor in his rising stock. Jason Remy, his former science teacher and the PA announcer for Southeast Raleigh’s football and basketball teams, spoke highly of him.

“Keysaun is a disruptive defensive player. He’s always in the backfield, making a mess of things,” Remy told High School OT.

Eleazer is equally focused on study by pursuing academic excellence in Southeast Raleigh’s biomedical science academy. He has expressed aspirations for a career in sports medicine.

On3 ranks Eleazer as the No. 533 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 41 edge rusher in the 2026 class and the No. 24 recruit in North Carolina.

Ohio State 2026 recruiting class update

Ohio State's 2026 is fresh off the commitment of three-star wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts last week. He is from Watkins Memorial in Pataskala, Ohio, and his commitment came shortly after the Buckeyes' 31–7 win over Northwestern on Nov. 16.

Ricketts is the second commit in the class, joining five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. The cycle is also trending for multiple prospects like quarterback Jared Curtis, wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, tight end Corbyn Fordham, linebacker Zach Weeks, defensive lineman Deuce Geralds and edge rusher Derek Colman-Brusa, among others.

Ohio State is the No. 3 class in the 2025 cycle. Day will try to secure a top-ranked 2026 class.
