The Pauldo sisters, Mya and Mia, finished an impressive high school basketball career at Morris Catholic and will soon start their collegiate journey at the Tennessee Volunteers.
In the meantime, the sisters reshared a picture with French Open winner Coco Gauff on their Instagram on Sunday as they stood courtiside. The original picture was posted by their father, DJ Pauldo.
"Congrats CHAMP," the story was captioned with two black heart emojis.

The 21-year-old made history by winning her first-ever French Open women's title with an astonishing comeback to beat the World No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4.
On the other hand, the Pauldo sisters led the Morris Catholic Crusaders to a 28-0 overall record and a state title after they defeated Pope John XXIII by a 66-34 score.
Mia Pauldo averaged 19.9 points, 5.9 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 steals as a junior and earned the MaxPreps Player of the Year in New Jersey. Her sister scored 14.8 points, grabbed 3.3 rebounds, dished out 4.5 assists and stole the ball 2.9 times per contest.
The sisters received offers from top programs, including the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Penn State Nittany Lions, Mississippi State Bulldogs and Illinois Fighting Illini. However, they decided to sign for Tennessee on Nov. 21, 2024.
In a conversation with Yahoo Sports, the twins gave their opinions on why they chose the program.
"We felt like the coaching staff’s energy and style of play was exactly what we needed to be able to showcase our complete skillsets as leaders on and off the court. We love the campus and the energy they brought during our visit," said Mya Pauldo.
Her sister, Mia Pauldo, has aspirations to lead the program to a national championship.
"It just felt different walking through the halls and seeing all the legendary names. We know we can lead a team and program to a national championship and there’s no better school to do that than the University of Tennessee and the Lady Vols."
Kim Caldwell adds five recruits including Mya and Mia Pauldo
Tennessee finished with a 23-11 overall record last season and was knocked out by the Texas Longhorns in the Sweet 16. However, coach Kim Caldwell added three recruits from the 2025 Class apart from the Pauldo sisters.
She received commitments from four-star point guard Jaida Civil and power forward Lauren Hurst. Furthermore, they also signed five-star small forward Deniya Prawl on Nov. 11.
