The Pittsburgh-based Westinghouse Bulldogs won their latest game against Perry Traditional Academy on Friday, October 18. However, the circumstances of their 68-0 blowout victory over the Commodores were remarkable, to say the least.
The Bulldogs were down to just 11 players for their game against the Commodores as more than half of Westinghouse's roster was suspended following an on-field altercation with University Prep on October 12.
That suspension meant that Westinghouse could only field just 11 players in their City League semifinal game against Perry Traditional. Despite being massively shorthanded, the Bulldogs dominated their opponents and secured the victory in front of their suspended teammates.
The game quickly took over social media with reactions pouring in from across the country. Fans took to Instagram to react to a post shared by SportsCenter NEXT about the game.
"11 best weren’t suspended if they putting up 68," one fan said.
"so dey played offense nd defense," another fan said.
"I wanna know why they was suspended," one fan said.

A few fans were in disbelief after learning the situation and expressed their shock in the comments section.
"Ugh..say wha," one fan said.
"Yooooo," another fan said.
"Why don't I believe this lol," one fan said.

Westinghouse dominated the game from start to finish, scoring 60 points in the first half. The Bulldogs improved their record to 7-1 for the season, whereas the Commodores slipped to 1-7.
Westinghouse and Taylor Allderdice meet for the City League title on Saturday
The Westinghouse Bulldogs from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will take on the Taylor Allderdice Dragons on Saturday in the City League title game. Both these teams posted a winning record this season en route to the championship game.
The Bulldogs will enter the game on the heels of a dominant 68-0 win against the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores on October 19. The Dragons, on the other hand, took care of business against University Prep and won the game, 14-6.
In their previous meeting, the Bulldogs handed the Dragons a big loss on their patch. Westinghouse, on the back of their offense, beat Taylor Allderdice High School 50-6.
However, tomorrow's game between these two teams will be a brand new ball game, as both teams will enter the game with knockout pressure. It will be a fun contest, with the Bulldogs playing the hosts this time.
