BTS’ Kim Taehyung is all over social media as fans celebrate in anticipation of his upcoming collaboration song White Christmas with late American singer Bing Crosby. On November 6, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC announced Kim Taehyung’s forthcoming remix song release with a poster featuring Bing Crosby alongside his pet dog Yeontan. White Christmas was originally released in 1942 and is loved worldwide among Christmas holiday music listeners.
Notably, this is not the first time Kim Taehyung has released a Christmas song. Over the years, as a part of being a BTS member, he dropped solo covers, duets, and original songs.

On December 30, 2014, after a year and a half of his debut with BTS, V dropped a cover of Someone Like You by Adele. The song cover is special for the artist and fans as it was released on his 19th birthday. Two years later, on December 20, 2016, he dropped the Original Soundtrack It’s Definitely You with his fellow group mate Jin for the popular K-drama Hwarang. Besides singing for the drama, he also made his acting debut in Hwarang with the role of Han Sung.
Kim Taehyung joined forces with his Wooga Squad friend Peakboy for Snow Flower, originally released on December 25, 2020, as a winter special track. On December 24, 2021, he dropped the song Christmas Tree, the OST for his friend Choi Woo-shik’s drama Our Beloved Summer.
V is widely known for his baritone vocals and has showcased his passion for jazz and R&B music on several occasions. According to Billboard, White Christmas is a partnership between the Bing Crosby Estate, Geffen Records, and Primary Wave Music. This collaboration is termed an era-bridging song, as this would be the first song released by Bing Crosby, 47 years after the release of his song Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy (1997).
As per Billboard, Kim Taehyung has shared his thoughts about White Christmas. The BTS vocalist expressed his gratitude for being a part of this remix project and revealed being an admirer of Bing Crosby.
