On November 24, 2024, BTS' Kim Seok-jin made history by hosting the first-ever "Carousel Fan Signing Event". During the event, the Grammy-nominated artist shared that he came up with the concept to make the event unique as well as safe and entertaining. Furthermore, he completed 100 rounds on the carousel to cheer the 50 lucky BTS ARMYs chosen for the event.
K-en News reported that originally he was supposed to ride the carousel once for each fan. However, he surprised admirers by doubling the lap to two rounds per fan.
The Running Wild singer-songwriter joked about putting only one hairband as an accessory on his head while riding the carousel and refused to put anything on his face to avoid getting pimples. Furthermore, he shared how he and his staff prepared masks, glasses, and other items so that fans could cover their faces in case they were uncomfortable showing their faces during the photo session.
Furthermore, he presented the 50 lucky ARMYs with Lotte World free passes and jewelry gifts from FRED. Fans were delighted by his thoughtful gesture. One fan wrote on X:

Fans mentioned how the BTS idol looked like the male lead from a K-drama. Some fans noted that despite feeling dizzy from going around the carousel 100 times, the Running Wild singer leaned against the carousel pole for support and said that he could work non-stop for his fans. This further touched their hearts.
"I wish he won't tire himself like this. I wish he takes some rest and rejuvenate himself. From the moment he got discharged, he's working nonstop. I wish army flood him with messages to take some rest," one fan said.

BTS' Jin releases his debut solo record, Happy, sharing how his fans inspired his album
On November 15, 2024, the BTS idol released his first-ever solo record, Happy, with six tracks, including the title track, Running Wild. Billboard reported on November 15 that the South Korean musician wanted to spread happiness through his songs, which inspired him to create the album. During the interview, he stated:
"Putting the album together has allowed me to pause and reflect on just how much ARMY means to me. As I worked on each track, I thought about what I wanted to convey to them, how I want to bring joy and happiness to them, while also expressing how much I missed them during our time apart."
He stressed how his journey and personal growth were heavily influenced by his fans—the BTS ARMY. He said:
"The journey behind revolved heavily around my connection with ARMY. As I worked on each track, I thought about what I wanted to convey to them, how I want to bring joy and happiness to them, while also expressing how much I missed them during our time apart.
