On Sunday, November 24, NMIXX's Sullyoon responded to a message she received on the fan community platform, Bubble. One fan commented that she looked like she had gained weight and further stated that her recent alleged weight gain had caused her dance movements to slow down, thereby affecting her performances.

Here's what the fan said:

LOL, you've gained weight lately, so your movement has slowed down a little, so I won't touch you.

In response, the idol replied with a tear face emoji and asked the fan whether they were referring to her weight gain or theirs. She then clapped back at the netizen for their disrespectful comment. Sullyoon stated that these comments don't affect or hurt her since they come from someone who lacks basic manners.

"LOL, And I don't get hurt by what someone who doesn't follow basic manners says!! You don't have to worry too much haha. I've mentioned that you should think about it again. Thank you always."

Following this incident, many fans praised the idol for her response. People were happy to see her stand up for herself without letting the alleged hate and disrespectful comments get to her. One fan on X commented:

NMIXX's Sullyoon, otherwise known as Seol Yoon-A, is a South Korean who debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2022 alongside her fellow group members. She serves as both the vocalist and visual of her K-pop girl group. She was born on January 26, 2004, in Daejeon, South Korea.

She was also a fixed MC of the South Korean music broadcast, Music Core, alongside NCT's Jungwon and Stray Kids' Lee Know. She held this role for one year, starting in April 2023. Meanwhile, she and her six-piece K-pop girl group, which includes Haewon, Lily, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, debuted with their single album AD MARE.
