On November 25, 2024, Park Hyo-shin shared the official teaser clip of Winter Ahead, starring BTS' Taehyung, aka V, on his Instagram story. Park Hyo-shin is a South Korean ballad singer and musical theater actor who collaborated with the Grammy-nominated musician for their upcoming duet, Winter Ahead, set to drop on November 29, 2024.
In his Instagram story caption, Park Hyo-shin praised the BTS idol as a "great actor" and wrote:

On November 25, 2024, the official teaser for Winter Ahead was released on YouTube by HYBE Labels. The music video teaser clip was also screened at the Shinsegae Square outdoor stage in South Korea, a prominent landmark in Seoul featuring a 1292.3㎡ LED at the top of the building.
Furthermore, Grammy-winning composer Jesse Harris collaborated with BTS' Taehyung and Park Hyo-shin for Winter Ahead. The music video will reportedly be around six minutes long, as per Park Hyo-shin's Marketing Director's personal blog post.
The song is reported to be a jazz-pop blend with calming and soothing beats. Winter Ahead touches on the theme of finding happiness with someone right by your side.
