On October 1, 2024, iQIYI revealed the full list of 69 male trainees from Korea, Japan, Thailand, and China for their new survival show, Starlight Boys. These trainees will compete for a spot in the Top 9. The show, set to premiere by the end of October 2024, will be hosted by South Korean actress Lee Sung-kyung and feature celebrity coaches to guide the contestants in singing, rapping, and dancing.These mentors include BIGBANG's Daesung, THE BOYZ's Eric, rapper Hanhae, singers Lee Seung-gi and Kwon Eunbi, STAYC's Yoon, choreographer Choi Young-jun, and PENTAGON member Hui.
