On October 30, 2024, Korean media outlet Naver reported that the dual roles of one actor in an advertising campaign are becoming increasingly popular lately.
The news came after the latest advertisement of Job Korea featuring Byeon Woo-seok surfaced online, which seemed heavily inspired by BTS' Taehyungβs dual roles in Compose Coffeeβs ad campaign.
In the stated advertisement of BTS' Taehyung, the idol transformed into a barista and a composer, respectively. He became a hot topic by promoting the brand.

An industry insider commented on the scenario to the publication,

BTS' Taehyung signed an advertising deal with Compose Coffee in December 2023
Compose Coffee unveiled South Korean singer Kim Taehyung, aka V, as its new brand ambassador in January 2024. Kim Taehyung, as the brand ambassador, starred in a series of video advertising and promotional retail signage commemorating Compose Coffee's tenth anniversary in 2024.
The number of franchisees increased by 24%, from 1,901 to 2,361 in less than a year. Following that, fans were unsurprisingly happy and proud of the K-pop idol's influence. Additionally, the brand saw an increase of 72% of sales in their Citron Tean following the idol's advertisement for the same.
As of this writing, BTSβ Taehyung is fulfilling his compulsory military duties. He enlisted in the military in December 2023, alongside his bandmate RM, and both are anticipated to be discharged in June 2025.
