On Tuesday, November 26, the behind-the-scenes for BTS' Taehyung's commercial for SIMINVEST with Jackie Chan was rolled out. In the video, clips showed the two celebrities hanging out, dancing together, etc. One of the clips showcased Jackie Chan teaching the idol his dance moves, while another revealed that the idol gave his LayoVer album as a gift to the actor.

SIMINVEST is an Indonesia-based securities company. The idol collaborated with Jackie Chan in March 2024 to release a 63-second advertisement film for the company. When the advertisement landed online, fans were surprised by the collaboration. Since it was unexpected for these two stars to come together, many cherished the collaboration and the advertisement film.

In March 2023, the vocalist, dancer, and visual of BTS, Taehyung, was named as the brand ambassador for the securities company, SIMINVEST. Following the same, the idol was made part of many of the commercials, adverstisement posters, etc., that acted as campaign for the company. While he continued his position as SIMINVEST's brand ambassador, his collaboration with Jackie Chan rolled out a year later.

In March 2024, SIMINVEST brought these two stars together for an advertisment. The idea behind the ad is to showcase a friendship that is unbounded by age, race, location, interests, etc. In the adverstisement, one can see Jackie Chan entering Taehyung's life and they both share their interests. Jackie Chan shows his stunt moves while Taehyung teaches him his dance steps.

Following the adverstisement's release, the idol also released a video from the behind-the-scenes of the set where he showcased his gratitude towards Jackie Chan for the collaboration. On the other hand, there was also a reason behind this collaboration coming alive. Ferita Lie, the President Commissioner of Sinarmas Sekuritas, stated the following to the Indonesian media outlet:

“Over the last two years, SimInvest has grown rapidly thanks to the presence of V, who has a loyal fanbase among young people. However, we cannot stop introducing new things, which is why we chose Jackie Chan as the second BA, alongside V, to represent a more senior audience."

Therefore, the collaboration was put forth from the undersatnding that both the artists hold a global fanbase, and their coming together would not only widen the audience but would also attract different age groups of the market.
