"We are living in a taekook world" — Fans react to BTS' Jungkook and Taehyung’s fanart Instagram repost by 'GOLDEN' listening party venue

On September 16, 2024, the owner of Los Angeles-based Korean restaurant, Woo Hyang Woo, posted a fan art of BTS' Jungkook and Taehyung on his Instagram account, @whw_hk_1.31. The post also included Slow Dancing by Taehyung as its background score. The fan art showed Jungkook and Taehyung aka V standing and having ice cream, with V having his left arm on Jungkook's shoulder.

Several fans flooded the comment section of the restaurant owner's post and suggested that the two BTS idols could be in a secretive romantic relationship with each other. The restaurant owner then commented under his own post and requested fans to refrain from making "weird" statements regarding the artists.

"Silently, there are some weird posts, so I'll be precise. I love all of BTS and they're saying ridiculous things about guys dating, so please stop saying weird things on my social media. We love everyone and they are really kind and precious people," he said.

Woo Hyang Woo's owner added that fans love and respect every BTS member. He also said the members have been going through a difficult time in the military and hence asked fans to refrain from dropping "weird" comments about them.

"They are having a hard time in the military right now and we pray for their health and always cheer them on from afar and only those who wish them well should leave comments. If you're going to say weird things, do it somewhere else."

However, some netizens lashed out at the restaurant owner and left negative comments under his comment. Meanwhile, on X, the post went viral for a different reason. Fans shared how much they loved the fan art and one fan wrote:

"Everyone is a taekooker we are living in a taekook world"

Similarly, several fans mentioned that the restaurant is the same one where Jungkook hosted his GOLDEN Listening Party in November 2023, in Los Angeles.

"Like I said..it’s an open secret in Korea," one fan wrote.

"Well even the restaurant where #Jungkook's golden party took place posted @smol_kia ..well if you know..you know," another fan said.

"The fact that they used slow dancing...I remember Jungkook loved it," one other fan said.

Others also mentioned that Jungkook and Taehyung's friendship shines through from the fan art. They wrote that they can't wait for their military discharge.

"We know who organized the Golden Party...more and more hints about it...Isn't it beautiful? Yes! They're beautiful! Taekook," one fan commented.

Taehyung joined Jungkook and Jimin on their Jeju trip for Are You Sure?! travel show

Disney+ reality travel show, Are You Sure?!, showed BTS' Jungkook and Jimin travel through California (New York), Jeju Island, and Japan (Sapporo) to film their travel show between July to November 2023. The show was released on August 8, 2024.

Episode 3 to 5 showed the duo traveling to Jeju Island in South Korea, where Taehyung joined them, adding more fun and laughter into the episodes. The BTS members engaged in activities like rock climbing, go-kart racing, fishing, swimming near the coral reefs, and more.

In other news, BTS' Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2023. They will return to the entertainment industry to resume group activities in June 2025.
