The Oscars are just around the corner and it is already time to discuss one of the most prestigious awards in the world- The Academy Award for Best Picture. While as many as 323 films were eligible for the Oscars, only 207 of them met the criteria for Best Picture. After last year's addition of Representation and Inclusion Standards (RAISE) to the Academy Awards, as many as 116 movies will not be eligible for the Best Picture category at the upcoming Oscars 2025.While some of the 116 movies are not eligible because they are animated movies, documentaries, or foreign-language movies, a large chunk of movies will not be considered for failing to meet the diversity and inclusivity standards. This list consists of some big names that one would assume to see in the Best Picture category. Movies like Woman of the Hour, Harold and the Purple Crayon, and Smile 2, are among the ones that are being excluded from the category. Regardless, they can participate in other categories at the Oscars, and some of these movies will likely win some there as well. Here is the complete list of movies that will be eligible for Best Pictures at Oscars 2025 despite having qualified for the Oscars.Complete list of movies that will be eligible for Best Picture at Oscars 2025Aadujeevitham – The Goat LifeAbigailThe Absence of EdenAlbany RoadAlien: RomulusAll We Imagine as LightAm I Racist? The American Society of Magical NegroesAmerican StarAnoraThe ApprenticeArgylleArthur the KingBabesBabygirlBack to BlackBad Actor: A Hollywood Ponzi SchemeBand of MaharajasThe BeastBeetlejuice BeetlejuiceBetter ManBetween the TemplesThe BikeridersBlack DogBlink TwiceBlitzBob Marley: One LoveBonhoeffer: Pastor.
