Along with the contestants, Glen's mother and aunt were present at the venue to help select the perfect lookalike for the actor. Glen Powell himself made the announcement, stating:
"The winner of today's contest gets a personal prize from me. Now you may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make but today, the winner of the Glen Powell look-alike contest wins their parents or any family member... a cameo in my next movie."

"My face hasn't hurt like this since I was ten and at Disney World. I did tell people I was going to win. I did mention that to my friends that sent it to me."
The winner further added that he had been compared to Powell before, so he wasn't totally surprised with the win. Along with the title, Braunstein received some amazing gifts, including a cameo in Powell's movie for a family member, as mentioned in the actor's announcement.
As reported by FOX 7 Austin, Kate Carpenter, the organizer, mentioned the large turnout for the event, adding:
