2024 Heat Latin Music Awards: Complete winners list as Karol G takes home huge wins

The 2024 Heat Latin Music Awards were held at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on July 11, 2024. The ninth edition of the award ceremony saw Karol G win the highest number of awards, with seven awards. These wins included Best Female Artist, Best Urban Artist, and more.

Other winners at the award ceremony include the band Morat, and singers such as Feid, Silvestre Dangong, and more.

Diana Montes, the founder of the Heat Latin Awards, spoke with Billboard on April 29, 2024, about the festival and said that it was a special year since it was their tenth anniversary.

"It’s a very special year because it’s our 10-year anniversary. We’ve expanded our categories, and this year, we’ll name winners in 29 categories, including a video-game streaming song. We’re also going to give out song of the year for the first time, and we’re launching a salsa category," Montes said.

The founder continued:

"We’re also excited about our app, Heat.TV. We launched it in 2021, and we have 647,000 unique monthly users. Last year, we had 5.2 million people watch the show in its entirety on the app."
