On August 6, 2024, Drake dropped a data dump on 100 Gigs for Your Headtop featuring 100 gigabytes' worth of songs, videos, artwork, and PowerPoint presentations for fans. While the rapper's random data dump is raising headlines, Drake became the center of attention after he followed a mysterious Instagram account called IndigoChild.

The bio of the Instagram account states,

"First account made some people anxious. Here we go again round 2 FIGHT"

Drake following the account made fans speculate it had something to do with another round of his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. One fan took to X to express their views on the rapper following IndigoChild and stated,

"Another account Drake follows. Bio: “first account made some people anxious. Here we go again round 2 “FIGHT”. IS DRAKE ABOUT TO REIGNITE THE BEEF?"
"I wouldn’t be surprised, this beef proved that they aren’t lyrically far from each other at all. I thought Drake wouldn’t engage after Like That for that reason," another fan tweeted.
"Way too much motion right now!!!!!" an X user mentioned.
"Yeaaaaa things heating back up" another X user stated.
"NEED IT! I would love to see if Kendrick can top Euphoria tbh 😮‍💨🤷🏽‍♂️" an internet user mentioned.

Some internet users suggested Drake shouldn't engage in round 2 of his feud with Kendrick Lamar at the moment,

"Yatchy said he’s unbothered 3 days ago 😂😂😂.Y’all should keep fooling yourself. He lost and everyone moved on already" a fan tweeted referring to Lil Yatchy's comment on Drizzy being unbothered at the Flagrant podcast
"There is no way drake is going to reignite his beef with kdot. Kendrick has put him through a lot as it is." another fan tweeted
"Why is bro always moving like this on IG lol" an X user tweeted

"[It] don't mean Drake can't get off the canvas" — Ice Cube hints Drake could redeem himself against Kendrick Lamar

The back and forth of raps between Kendrick Lamar and Drake ended with Kendrick performing Not Like Us five times at "The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert" in June 2024. Kendrick also released a music video for the track. Drake didn't respond to Kendrick during that time and hasn't commented on reigniting the beef between the rappers, either.

However, in June 2024, American rapper Ice Cube appeared on the Big Pod with Shaq podcast and gave his two cents on the rap battle between Drake and Kendrick. While Ice Cube mentioned Kendrick Lamar "landed the more hard and effective punches" he also stated that Drake was an opponent who was to be taken seriously.

Talking about how he approves of rap battles in the essence of the game, Ice Cube hinted at Drake redeeming himself in his feud with Kendrick Lamar and told the podcast,

"[It] don't mean Drake cant get off the canvas. If I was Kendrick I'd stay cocked and loaded…."

While Drake has released tons of materials for his fans to enjoy via 100 Gigs for Your Headtop, the rapper or his record label has not commented on reigniting the feud with Kendrick Lamar or releasing any diss tracks.
