Maiya The Don expressed her frustration with Ray Vaughn’s latest diss track, Crashout Heritage. Apart from dissing Joey Bada$$, the song also takes a jab at Tory Lanez. Maiya shared her displeasure via an X post on January 9, 2025, writing:
"What's the point of dissing Tory Lanez if it's NOT for shooting a woman? talking ab 'i was praying for your freedom' OHHH BROTHERRRR."
For the unversed, Maiya The Don is referring to the verse where TDE's Ray Vaughn talks about Lanez's appearance on DDG's track. Ray Vaughn rapped:
“And Tory, you should bе ashamed of yourself. 'Cause DDG needed to sell, you did a verse from a cell. 'Fore you went the jail, in the booth, me and you was Kenan and Kel. Stranger things happened on the mic' when n****s beef over EL's. Don't think you shot her, I was prayin' for your freedom as well.”

"I ain't goin tho" — Ray Vaughn responds to Maiya The Don's criticism of him mentioning Tory Lanez's name in his song
Despite Maiya The Don's post on X garnering over a thousand likes and comments, Ray Vaughn appeared unbothered by her opinion and quickly replied to her tweet, saying:
“Say your opinion on the net they try to whoop you for it. I ain’t goin tho."
For the unversed, Ray Vaughn's song is a diss track targeting Joey Bada$$ in response to the latter's song, The Ruler's Back. The song, released on January 8, 2024, consists of lines like:
“What’s with the sneak dissing? Taking shots at us then hide the Uzi. ‘Cause the only badass the world was recognizing is Boosie. Please don’t get confused with shooting them movies with really shooting. Was on Soul album so if you ask me, you look like a goofy. I hope this message reaches you well.”
Furthermore, at the time of releasing Crashout Heritage, Ray tagged Joey Bada$$ on social media and wrote how 2025 is for "no sneak dissing, only crashouts." Besides, Tory Lanez and Joey Bada$$, the song also disses DDG and podcaster Mal.
On the other hand, neither Tory Lanez nor Joey Bada$$ have commented on the track released by Ray Vaughn.
