The festival has already been renewed for its 2025 edition, which will be held at the same Glasgow Green Park from July 11 to 13, 2025. The first wave of Early Bird tickets are already sold out and the festival is now hearing from its fans on their artist wishlist for the upcoming edition of the festival. Interested patrons can make their wish on the festival's socials' post comments.
TRNSMT festival is a recent addition to the Glasgow festival scene, with the first edition having been held in 2017. The inaugural edition of the festival was critically successful and won the Best New Festival award at the 2017 UK Festival Awards. The award winning first edition featured performances by Radiohead, Kasabian and more.
The festival has also seen performances by artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Queen + Adam Lambert and The Killers in 2018, as well as Catfish and the Bottlemen in 2019, Paolo Nutini and The Strokes in 2022 and Pulp in 2023.
While the average audience count per day is 50,000, the highest crowd fall ever recorded at the TRNSMT festival is more than 120,000. The festival is partnered by Rockstar Energy Drinks as well as companies such as Bacardi, Busker and Pepsi, among others.
