Simone Biles made history after she stormed to the women's gymnastics all-around gold medal at the Paris Olympics. After her victorious outing at the Bercy Arena, the American seemingly took a dig at former President Donald Trump and his infamous ‘black job’ remarks.

Back in June, the Republican party leader made some controversial comments during the 2024 CNN presidential debate. In his remarks, Trump discussed the role immigrants play in the U.S. economy, and said that a surge in immigrants would see them take ‘black jobs.’

"They’re (immigrants) taking Black jobs now and it could be 18, it could be 19 and even 20 million people. They’re taking Black jobs, and they’re taking Hispanic jobs, and you haven’t seen it yet, but you’re going to see something that’s going to be the worst in our history,” Trump said (via NBCNews).

After Simone Biles' historic campaign at the Paris Olympics, singer Ricky Davila took to his X to write:

"Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job.”

Biles reshared the post with the caption ‘I love my black job’, taking a dig at Trump's earlier comments.

Biles throws shade at McKayla Skinner after winning team gold at the Paris Olympics

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Simone Biles has used the opportunity of winning a medal to throw shade on social media. Earlier this week, after reclaiming the team gold alongside Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera, the American took to her Instagram to post a photo of the Team USA squad, alongside the caption:

“Lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions.”

This was in response to former gymnast and Olympic silver-medalist McKayla Skinner, who called Biles’ teammates lazy in a now deleted YouTube video, saying (via USA Today):

“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t what it used to be. I mean, obviously, a lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic."

For now, after clinching the team and all-around gold medals at the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles still has other events left for her at the Games.

The 27-year-old has qualified for the individual apparatus finals for vault, floor, and the balance beam, and will be back in action at the Bercy Arena soon enough. The vault finals take place on August 3, while the floor and beam finals are scheduled for August 5.
