Gabby Thomas recently shared her new look a week after starting the preparations for the 2025 track and field season. The American sprinter is fresh off one of the best seasons of her career which saw her win three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thomas competed in women's 200m, 4x400m relay and 4x100m relay at the Olympic Games, winning medals in all three disciplines. She clocked 21.83 seconds for the win in the women's 200m and ran the third leg for both of the USA relay teams.

Following the Games, the 27-year-old later concluded her season at the Athlos NYC, a women's only league launched by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in partnership with Thomas. She took a two-month break afterward before starting her preparations for the 2025 season on November 18.

Following a week-long training, the three-time Olympic champion decided to bring a little change in her look as she colored her hair to a shade of light auburn. She also got wavy 22-inch raw Cambodian clip-ins placed and shared her stunning new look in an Instagram story.

Gabby Thomas was interested in softball during her early childhood before being forced by her mother Jennifer Randall to pursue track and field. While the track wasn't her first love, it soon became her last as she realized the importance of its individuality as an athlete.

" I think I ended up choosing track because you can always get better you can always improve, you can always be a better athlete, be a better version of yourself and that's such a beautiful thing about track and field. We can count medals and we can count wins but you're always kind of racing yourself so, I fell in love with that," she told New Balance in an interview.

Thomas didn't have intentions of becoming an Olympian before joining Harvard University for a bachelor's degree in neurobiology and global health. She pursued a master's degree in epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center as well.
