The women's kit by Nike for the Paris Olympics is one of the most controversial topics making waves in the sports community. Colleen Quigley in conversation with Reuters expressed her thoughts about the uniform. She stated:

"Absolutely not made for performance."

Paralympic runner Jaleen Roberts stated that everything's visible in the mannequin itself.

"This mannequin is standing still and everything's showing.. imagine MID FLIGHT."

Another athlete, Lauren Fleshman, stated that these uniforms are not needed anymore to captivate attention towards women's sports.

"A costume born of patriarchal forces that are no longer welcome or needed to get eyes on women's sports."

Pole vault star Katie Moon on the other hand came up with defensive points for Nike. She tried on the uniform and posted it on her X account clarifying the fact that the uniform looks a certain way on the mannequin but looks different after wearing it.

"If this can help women's mind at ease a bit.. I tried on the same style today and didn't feel worried about.. things.. popping out. I think it's just the mannequin. This felt like the last kit just a slightly higher cut. I know every body is different tho so just my take," Moon wrote.
