Simone Biles and Suni Lee, along with the other Paris-qualified US gymnastic girls, hit the uneven bars at their first training camp in the French capital ahead of the 2024 Games. Biles, the 2016 Rio Olympics all-around champion, will look to retain her top position, whereas, Lee will aim to defend her Olympic title after the all-around top finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Simone Biles, inarguably the most decorated gymnast, wasn't a part of the gold podium at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics since she withdrew midway due to 'twisties'. After a two-year hiatus, she returned to the competitive mat at the 2023 US Classic, followed by multiple victories, leading up to the US Olympic Trials.
At the trials, Biles finished with an all-around gold score of 117.225. Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles trailed with 111.675 and 111.425 in second and third, respectively. Jade Carey and the youngest debutant, Hezyl Rivera, also booked their seats on the roster, with Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong as traveling alternates.

The women's team stepped into Paris with just six days to go for the marquee event. The caption hinted at the photos going up on the walls of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

Suni Lee was diagnosed with a kidney issue earlier in 2023, which marred most of her 2023 season. She missed the 2023 World Championships and marked her Olympic year comeback at the 2024 Winter Cup. After some rough performances, she clinched the balance beam gold at the Core Hydration for the first time since the Tokyo Olympics.
Four of the five US women's gymnastics members are heading to the Olympics for the second consecutive time, with only Hezyl Rivera as the first-timer.

Joining them at the Paris Olympics will be Jordan Chiles, who trains alongside Simone Biles in the World Champions Center. Jade Carey, the floor gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, will look to add more gold at the Paris Olympics.
