Noah Lyles had a busy season on the track in 2024, storming to an Olympic gold and bronze, as well as a World Indoor Championships silver. Now, the American is making the most of his time away from the track, and recently shared a snap of himself enjoying his new pool.
For Lyles, his season began in February, with multiple indoor competitions. A 200m specialist in his early career, the 27-year-old quickly mastered the 60m sprint, storming to victory at the USA Indoor Championships, before settling for silver at the Glasgow World Indoor Championships.
The American opened his outdoor season in April, showcasing multiple impressive performances in the 100m. His debut 200m race of the season took place in June at the USATF New York City Grand Prix. A couple of weeks later, Lyles competed at the US Olympic Trials, winning both the 100m and 200m tiles.
From there, Noah Lyles went on to the Paris Olympics, where he clinched gold in the men's 100m sprint. However, he was forced to settle for bronze in 200m, after a bout with Covid 19. Now, the sprinter is spending time with his fiancee Junelle Bromfield and making the most of his off season, and recently took to his Instagram stories to show off his new pool, writing,
“First swim in the new pool.”
Noah Lyles surprises fiancee Junelle Bromfield with a new house
For Noah Lyles, his offseason has been just as happening as his year on the track. In early October, the sprinter got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Junelle Bromfield, sharing a video of his proposal on Instagram.
Now, the newly engaged couple have purchased a house together. Bromfield shared the update with fans, posting a video of a mini-tour of the house on her Instagram and writing,
“We are blessed with a house but together we will build a home.”
Bromfield later revealed that the house was a surprise, writing,
“I’m usually hard to surprise but he got me this time.”
Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield first got to know each other in 2017, and went on a date a year later. However, it didn't work out back then and the two chose to remain friends. The duo decided to rekindle their relationship in 2022, and have been inseparable ever since. They are often spotted in the stands cheering each other on, and provide fans with regular insights of their life together.
