Rabat/Marrakech Diamond League 2024 Final Results: Chase Jackson sets meet record, Andre De Grasse stunned by Emmanuel Eseme

Rabat/Marrakech Diamond League 2024 witnessed stellar athletic action on Sunday, May 19 as several international athletes looked to get in shape ahead of the Paris Olympics. The women's events were highlighted by the 200m season opener of Tokyo medalist Shericka Jackson. The Jamaican raced to victory in 22.82s in her first 200m race of the season.

While none of the reputed American sprinters competed in the 100m event at the Rabat Diamond League 2024, Cameroonian athlete Emmanuel Eseme clocked 10.11s to stun Canada’s Andre De Grasse. The Canadian finished 2nd in 10.19s while British sprinter Jeremiah Azu clocked 10.25s for the 3rd place.

Chase Jackson continued her good form in shot put from Shanghai to the Rabat Diamond League 2024. She set a meet record with a distance of 20.00m. The 2nd place was secured by Yemisi Ogunleye with a throw of 19.40m.
