Sha'Carri Richardson reacted to Tonea Marshall for featuring in Nike's newest Vomero Roam campaign. Richardson came fresh off her silver medal win in the 100m and gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2024 Paris Games.
Richardson made waves at the 2023 World Championships, after winning the 100m dash at blistering speed and anchoring the 4x100m relay team to the coveted victory. She continued her momentum in the US Olympic trials, qualifying for the 100-meter race but fading to fourth in the 200m qualification race.
After winning two medals at the Paris Olympics, Richardson made it to the gold podium in the 100m at the Zurich Diamond League, avenging her loss to her Olympic rival, Julien Alfred. Shortly after, she graced the 100m line-up at the Diamond League finals in Brussels but finished eighth in 11.23s.
Since concluding her track season, Richardson made other sporting appearances and lauded athletes for their achievements. On November 12, 2024, the 100m World champion was in awe of fellow LSU alum, Tonea Marshall, who was featured in Nike's newest Vomero Roam campaign.
She took to her story to share Nike's official post and captioned it with a couple of heart-eyed emojis.

Sha'Carri Richardson - "Every time you step on the track, it’s a validation.."
Sha'Carri Richardson was a heavy favorite for the 100m at the Tokyo Olympics but a positive drug test ended her dreams. In 2023, she clinched pole spot in the 100m at the World Championships, proving her prowess on the track.
In the build-up to the Paris Olympics, Richardson was featured in Vogue's campaign and shared how validated she felt when she stepped on the competition track every time.
“Every time you step on the track, it’s a validation of the time you’ve put in, the sacrifices you make on the daily. When I get on the blocks, it’s about getting the job done. I know there’s joy at the other end, at the finish line. But I also know I’ve got to earn that happiness," Sha'Carri Richardson noted. (via Vogue)
