Sha'Carri Richardson was recently seen flaunting a customized wristband days after the completion of her maiden Olympics campaign. The athlete is now poised to compete for the first time after the 2024 Summer Games at the Zurich Diamond League.
The 24-year-old has started training for her upcoming competition, where she will be competing in the 100m dash. She will compete against Julien Alfred for the first time after being trounced by her during the Olympics on September 5 at the Letzigrund stadium.
While gearing up for this competition, the American sprinter took to her Instagram story and flaunted Whoop's red-colored wristband, which had her initials, 'SR', printed on it. Urging her followers to get the same, she wrote:
"Get your SR brand."

The 24-year-old achieved two medals in her first Olympic games, winning a silver in the 100m dash and a gold in the 4x100m relay event. She clocked 10.87s to secure second place and was trounced by Alfred, who recorded a time of 10.72s. While Melissa Jefferson claimed third place with a time of 10.92s.
The American won her first ever Olympic gold medal in the women's 4x100m relay, where she ran with her team, which included Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, and Gabby Thomas, to clock a time of 41.78s. They bested Great Britain and Germany, who clocked 41.85s and 41.97s, respectively.
Sha'Carri Richardson opened up about winning her first gold at the Paris Olympics
Sha'Carri Richardson won the first Olympic gold of her career in the 4x100m relay event. Before Richardson had the baton, Team USA was in the fourth position; however, she took the team to the first place, surpassing Great Britain and Germany. Following this win, the athlete opened up about the win during the post-race interview with Olympics.com.
"The moment that I realised that when we won, the USA ladies, it was a phenomenal feeling for all of us," Sha'Carri Richardson said.
Talking about the team, she added:
"I was very comfortable with this team. I just remember trusting Gabby and knowing that she's going to put this thing in my hand no matter what. I wanted to leave my best on the track."
A few days after her triumph, Richardson opened up about how Thomas helped her in the 4x100m relay race in an interview with Refinery 29.
"I don't hear anybody else but Gabby. "If it's not her voice, I can't hear it. Everything else is a blur," Richardson said. Gabby’s voice automatically sends me into a place of determination and it sends me into a place of I know what time it is."
Sha'Carri Richardson will now be seen squaring off against the likes of Olympic champion Julien Alfred and Dina Asher-Smith in the 100m event at the Zurich Diamond League.
