Simone Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, who is also an NFL player for the Chicago Bears, was seen trying gymnastics tricks during the Gold Over America Tour practice sessions. The American gymnast is currently on the 22nd stop of the tour after concluding her Paris Olympics campaign.
Biles dominated the 2024 Summer Games with four medals, of which three were gold and one was a silver medal. She won her first gold in the team all-around event, where the USA registered a score of 171.296, trouncing Italy and Brazil. The 27-year-old clinched her second gold medal in the individual all-around, where she scored 59.131 points, and nabbed her third gold medal in the vault event, where she attained 15.700 points.
The Olympic medalist also won a silver medal in the floor exercise, where she gained 14.133 points. Following her triumphant Paris campaign, she launched the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour to celebrate the Olympians. Unlike the first edition of the tour, male gymnasts were also part of the team. The team recently performed in Kansas City on October 16 and has now reached Austin for their current stop.
Amidst the training sessions for their performance, Jonathan Owens was seen trying his hands at the parallel bars. Biles shared a video of him learning the trick on her Instagram story and wrote:
"Should we add him to the cast? @goldoveramericatour"

She shared another video of him chilling with Paul Juda and Yul Moldauer on the stage. Biles jokingly wrote:
"The boys warming up @yul_moldauer @jowens @pauljuda"

Simone Biles and Owens have always been very supportive of each other when it comes to their respective sports. The gymnast never fails to cheer the NFL player when he is on the field, and Owens also marks his presence by always supporting the gymnast during important events.
Simone Biles reveals the reason behind getting a tattoo for Jonathan Owens
Simone Biles recently made an adorable gesture towards her husband by getting a tattoo of his initials on her ring finger. The gymnast opened up about the reason behind getting the tattoo during an interview with Access Bollywood's Scott Evans. The 27-year-old stated the gesture was "very sentimental" and she wanted to give him a big surprise. Biles revealed that she got the tattoo in Arizona, right after her Gold Over America Tour show.
"It's very sentimental and he (Jonathan Owens) also has an 'S' on his ring finger as just an ode to me. He loves me so much and I love him and I knew that it would be such a big surprise. I actually called him the other day because we tattoed in Arizona after the show literally two days ago," Simone Biles said.
She added that Owens also has a tattoo of her initials on his fingers:
"I wanted to surprise him because he already got his and I kept telling him no I'm not doing it. So he actually woke up in the middle of the night and I had just landed in San Francisco and he was like "I am going to cry."
Simone Biles and her team's next stop for the Gold Over America Tour will be on October 19, 2024, in Houston.
