Going into Sweden, the meet has a total of 14 elite level competitions, with the lineup for the men's pole vault as well as the women's 200m look particularly exciting. So, without any further ado here are a few athletes you need to keep an eye on at the Stockholm Diamond League.

American Kyree King will be racing the men's 100m sprint in Sweden and will face a field consisting of Yohan Blake and Emmanuel Eseme. King was recently crowned champion at the LA Grand Prix 100m sprint, before going on to finish third in the 200m at the Prefontaine Classic. With a slightly thinned out playing field, the American could very well take his first Diamond League meet win on Sunday.

Brittany Brown will take to the track not once, but twice at the Stockholm Diamond League, competing in both the 100 and 200m. The American recently outdid World Champion Shericka Jackson in the 200m at the Oslo DL meet, and it will make an interesting race to see the duo clash again on Sunday.

The second fastest woman in history, and fastest woman alive, Jackson clinched the 200m gold at both the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, and is a favorite for the podium in Paris.

Last but not least, one of the most anticipated performances of the evening at the Stockholm Diamond League will be Mondo Duplantis taking to the field for the men's pole vault. The Tokyo Olympic Champion has already broken his own world record this year, and remains an uncontested favorite to defend his title in Paris.

However, Duplantis will have to work his way to the top of the field, with the men's pole vault also featuring the likes of KC Lightfoot, Sam Kendricks, and Christopher Nielson.
